Ramdung -go Peak & Rolwaling Valley on the least trekked area in the far corners of Rowaling Valley in the shade of Mt. Gaurishanker and Melung Tse peaks our trek Rolwaling Valley to Khumbu via Tashi Labtsa starts from Dolkha and Simigaon  and climb in one of the classic high route and then concludes at picturesque touristic town at Charikot, the trek is moderate  in the beginning and to adventurous where all strong trekkers can join in this wonderful walking journey and the time duration taking just a little more than 2 weeks in the comfort of camping along the route and climb. 
Ramdung –go Peak & Rolwaling Valley, one of the most unique journeys leading from mediterranean of mid hills to arctic landscapes and climate zone, all these drastic change in temperature found only in the high valleys and mountains of Rolwaling and Khumbu area with dramatic change in vegetations and its awesome scenery.
This trek leads through many traditional Sherpa villages famous as mountaineers and warm hospitality and has been a high altitude porters and guides since last five decades.
This remarkable trek starts from Dolkha district the old and hard way to Everest area and then over to famous Beding gaon and to Nha gaon with enough rest day for proper acclimatization and then heading higher to Rolwaling valley through the scenic spot of  Beding and Na then finally reaching our destination at Ramdung-go Peak, the peak located in the rim of Rolwaing valley with free day at base camp, our expert guides will first check the route for safe climb and then, and then slowly with a scenic walk ending this beautiful and awesome trekking at scenic valley towards Simigaon for an interesting drive back to Kathmandu for your international flight after a memorable time with Solukhumbu Treks & Expedition Ramdung-go Peak & Rolwaling Valley trek and climb.
Day 01:       Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:       Drive to Gongar 1,400m via Charikot -07hrs journey.          
Day 03:       Trek to Simigaon 2,000 m - 05 hours.
Day 04:       Trek to Dovan 2,500 m - 06 hours.
Day 05:       Trek to Beding 3,693m - 05 hours.
Day 06:       Rest day for acclimatization and short hikes.
Day 07:       Trek to Na gaon 4,183m - 04 hours.
Day 08:       Trek to Ramdung Peak Base Camp 5,100m - 06 hrs
Day 09:       Climb Ramdung Peak and to Base camp - 08 hrs.
Day 10:       Reserve or contingency day in case of unfavorable bad weather.
Day 11:       Trek back to Beding goan - 07 hrs.
Day 12:       Trek to Dovan - 05 hrs.
Day 13:       Trek to Simigaon - 05 hrs
Day 14:       Trek to Gongor and afternoon at leisure.
Day 15:       Drive to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel with afternoon at leisure.
Day 16:       In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 17:       Final international departure for home ward bound.

Day 01:      Meet in Kathmandu after arrival from international flight.
Rendezvous in Kathmandu where you will be joined with other members of the trekking team on reaching respective hotels, our guide or group leader will brief information regarding your trekking with do’s and don’ts.
Day 02:      Drive to Gongar 1,400 m via Charikot - 07 hrs journey.
Morning drive on the scenic Kathmandu-Lhasa highway, an interesting drive on the foothills of the Himalaya, passing several villages and towns on reaching at Charikot the drive diverts from the main road to dirt road on the road towards Dolkha and Rolwaling area journey continues passing farm villages and finally reaching at Gongar near by the river close to the border of Tibet but in the warm area where rice still grown around this area overnight camp after a long exciting journey.
Day 03:      Trek to Simigaon 2,000 m- 05 hrs.
From this small settlement morning walk leads past Tama Koshi, and into narrow gorge to reach at Chetchet with its cascading magnificent waterfall, from here onwards on the cool area, leaving the rice paddy and sub tropical region, the path leads to a climb into alpine area for an hour then walking on gradual level path, then with the last climb towards our overnight camp at Simigaon village, inhabited by Sherpa tribe this is a nice farm village yielding corns, potatoes, wheat’s, barley and millets, afternoon free at leisure and visit the old monastery with stunning views of the Mt. Gaurishankar and Melung Tse peak.
Day 04:      Trek to Dovan 2,850 m - 05 hrs.
With a nice cool morning, starting the day walk heading North East with a climb through terraced farm fields and then into enchanting serene rhododendron, oaks, magnolia, and pine forest passing several pasture area, walk continues above the hill side and then on the downhill to the river through several cattle herders shades and huts at Gyalche, then an hour of pleasant walk to our overnight camp at Dovan, by the river that flows from the mountains high above, Dovan a small settlement in the middle of a forest with few houses.
Day 05:      Trek to Beding 3,690m - 05 hrs.
Morning walk starts with a crossing of Rolwaling khola (stream) then the trail climbs up into tranquil forest, then the path winds up reaching a small place of Nyimare and Ramding farm and Sheppard’s temporary settlements, the trail continues with the climb and then finally completing the walk at Beding village for overnight camp, Beding village home of large Sherpa community and the last village of Rolwaling Valley, located in a narrow gorge valley with an old monastery situated on the top of this village, this village has a primary school supported by Hillary foundation.
Day 06:      Rest day for acclimatization and short hike around.
An important and necessary to have rest day to acclimatize before heading towards our higher destinations crossing of high pass of Tashi Laptsa.
Beding village offers opportunity for short hike like visiting around village and to some high hills for best views of Mt. Gaurishankar and Melung Tse  (Jobo Garee).
Day 07:      Trek to Na Gaon 4,180m - 04hrs.
Today’s walk leads at the end of this beautiful Rolwaling valley beneath the towering Mt. Gaurishankar 7,145 m and Melung Tse ( Jobo Garee) peaks
7,181 m, after leaving Beding village the walk leads on the gradual up hills overlooking grand views of array of snow capped peaks from Guarishnker, Melung Tse, Ramdung go 5,930 m,  Chukyima go 6,259 m, Tabayabyum
5,558 m, and Yalung ri 5,630 m, as the walk progress and gorge turning into a wide glacial valley and this amazing Rolwaling valley ends with a wall of surrounding snow capped mountains, after a scenic pleasant walk reaching at Na Gaon, which is a temporary settlement of the Beding cattle herders a huge wide summer pasture, the people here grows potato, wheat’s and barley and this will be our highest spot of this awesome journey. After lunch a free afternoon to relax, catch up with the dairy or short walk around.
Day 08:      Trek to Ramdung-go Base Camp 4,750m - 05 hrs
With half day rest at Nha Gaon, morning walk leads to a climb for a while entering into hidden isolated area and crossing a river towards south and heading eastward direction, after a strenuous climb reaching the base camp at 4,750 meter, here preparation for the next day big climb.
Day 09:      Climb Ramdung Peak to base camp 4,750 m / 15,584 ft - 08 hrs.
The highlight and aim of this great adventure starting very early before dawn and then climbing on snow and icy slopes, which is quite steep with technical sections to reach the summit of Ramdung Peak at 5, 915 meters; our guide will make the route by fixing ropes where necessary for this great climb to the summit top, after the final ascend to the top of the summit with great spirit and feeling high, marvel the surrounding overwhelming views and descend back to base camp.
Day 10:      Reserve day in case of unfavorable weather condition.
An extra day as contingency or reserve day in case of unfavorable weather conditions, if all goes well this spare can be used on the way before Lukla or at Namche Bazaar after crossing Tashi Laptsa.
Day 11:      Trek back to Beding gaon - 07 hrs.
After a great climb return back to Nha gaon and continue trek to Beding with great views along the walk.
Day 12:      Trek to Dovan - 05hrs.
Today an easy day walk losing altitude and on the downhill tail most of the way passing several farm village and cultivated fields and terraces and back into tree lines and lush vegetations.
Day 13:      Trek to Simigaon - 05 hrs.
Walk leads with an uphill for an hour and then on the gradual winding path through the serene rhododendron and pines forest and heading downhill to Simigaon for overnight stop.
Day 14:      Trek to Gongor – 04 hrs.
A short day today and the last day of trekking reaching warmer area by the Tama Kosi River and in warmer climate and with a long descend towards the river and for the last camp of this trip.
Day 15:      Drive back to Kathmandu – 07 hrs.
After a great and memorable adventure of a life time a long interesting drive towards Charikot where the road from Jiri and Kathmandu meets and then on the driving towards Bhote Kosi river for a while and then up towards Dhulikhel and to Kathmandu back in the hustle and bustle of city life.
Day 16:      In Kathmandu with cultural tour at places of interest.
This day reserved a free day in case of delay in climb and on trek due to bad weather conditions, and one can join for sightseeing tour at leisure, depart hotel for few hours in our interesting cultural tour of heritage sites as Kathmandu valley is full of world heritage sites, however some of them been damaged from recent earthquake.
The  tour of holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath ( Little Tibet), Swayambhunath ( Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, afternoon free at leisure for individual activities.
Day 17:      International departure for home ward bound.
After a great memorable time and experience with Solukhumbu Treks & Expedition, depart from the hotel to the airport for final departure homeward bound or to respective destinations.
