On this trek and climb to Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli with Annapurna Base Camp & Sanctuary you can view from Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft). Annapurna Sanctuary & Base Camp stretches to Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish-tail) Base Camp.
Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli & Annapurna Sanctuary one of the most popular and trekked region due to its easy accessibility from the picturesque touristic city at Pokhara the trek is moderate to adventurous where all types of strong trekkers and adventurer can join in this wonderful trek and climb, the time duration taking just a little more than 2 weeks in the comfort of warm cozy lodge and with camping facilities during climbing period. 
Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli at 5,663 meters high and the trek and climb with Annapurna Sanctuary one of the most unique journey leading from warm subtropical, mediterranean of mid hills to arctic landscapes and climate zone, all these drastic change in temperature found only in Annapurna Base Camp & Sanctuary, this makes a drastic change in vegetations and its awesome scenery.
This trek leads through many traditional Gurung villages famous as Gorkha soldiers in foreign legion of British, Indian, Singapore and Brunei as gallantry soldiers.
This remarkable trek starts and ends in the scenic valley at Pokhara city where the high snow capped peaks reflects in its serene lake Phewa.
We have allowed rest day for proper acclimatization so that every member in the group can summit Tent Peak / Tharpu-Chuli Climb at 5,663 meters high, on leaving Annapurna base camp to set up the first camp for the adventurous climb Tent Peak /Tharpu Chuli the trail leads by Annapurna I and Gangapurna glacier to set up 2 camps before the climb to the summit, while the climb is straight forward with quite technical difficulty in some section, for the climb use of ice and crampons with ice axe are necessary in the entire climb, our expert guide who will fix ropes for safety around necessary and in technical sections.
Tent Peak / Tharpu-Chuli Climb rated as PD ( Peu Difficile / a some technical difficult and walking on glaciers) the grade as per Swiss / French Alpine System.
From the summit awesome panorama of Annapurna Sanctuary, with Mt. Annapurna’s I, II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome as far to Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tilicho and Manaslu and mountain range in the distance.
After a great moment and climb of Tent Peak / Tharpu-Chuli and at Annapurna Sanctuary journey back on the same trail to Chomrong, then a long descend following the river Modi near to Landruk and then with a gradual scenic walk back to Pokhara and then return back to Kathmandu for your international flight after a memorable time with Solukhumbu Treks & Expedition trekking and climb of magnificent Tent Peak / Tharpu-Chuli with Annapurna Base Camp & Sanctuary.
Day 01:           Meet in Kathmandu after arrival from international flight.
Day 02:           In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03:           Drive or fly to Pokhara 950m (35 mins flight & 6 hrs drive)
Day 04:           Drive to Nayapul and trek to Gandruk 1,730 m - 05 hrs walks.       
Day 05:           Trek to Chomrong 1,951m - 06 hrs.
Day 06:           Trek to Dovan 2,130m via Bamboo 2,050m - 06 hrs.
Day 07:           Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp 3,720m - 06 hrs.
Day 08:           Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4,095m - 04 hrs.
Day 09:           At Annapurna Base Camp rest day for acclimatization.
Day 10:           Trek to Tent peak base camp 4,450 m - 05 hrs.
Day 11:           Trek to high camp 5,200 m - 05 hrs.
Day 12:           Climb Tent Peak and return to base camp - 08 hrs.
Day 13:           Trek back to Annapurna Base Camp - 04 hrs.
Day 14:           Trek to Bamboo - 06 hrs.
Day 15:           Trek to Jhinu danda with hot spring 1,700m - 06 hours.
Day 16:           Trek to Potana 1,900 m - 05 hrs.
Day 17:           Trek to Kande 1,460m and drive to Pokhara.
Day 18:           Drive or fly back to Kathmandu afternoon free at leisure.
Day 19:           International departure homeward bound.


Pokhara is one of the most unique sub-tropical valley in the Himalaya and probably in the world, where one can marvel the beauty of the Himalayan landscape  and reflection of the Annapurna massif including the towering majestic peak of Mt. Machhapuchhre on its beautiful lakes.. Pokhara is situated in the mid western Nepal. It is linked by the main highway of 200 km driving distance from Kathmandu, and by air approximately 20 to 30 minutes flight with a sweeping panoramic views of the mid east to western Himalayan ranges.
Mother Nature has certainly blessed this fertile valley with outstanding scenery of the landscapes, snow capped mountains, moderate tropical climate, and beautiful pristine lakes of Begnas, Rupa and Phewa.

Among these high peaks it is the towering majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) which dominates all others in this range. Day 01:           Meet in Kathmandu after arrival from international flight.
Rendezvous in Kathmandu where you will be joined with other members of the trekking team on reaching respective hotels, our guide or group leader will brief information regarding your trekking with do’s and don’ts.
Day 02:           In Kathmandu with cultural tour at places of interest.
As per the time set for sightseeing tour, our city guide will meet in the morning after breakfast  and then depart hotel for few hours in our interesting cultural tour of heritage sites as Kathmandu valley is full of world heritage sites, however some of them been damaged from recent earthquake.
The  tour of holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath ( Little Tibet), Swayambhunath ( Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, afternoon free at leisure for Tent Peak / Tharpu chuli and Annapurna Base Camp trek and climb preparation.
Day 03:           Drive to Pokhara 950m - 06 hrs journey distance 220 k.m.
Morning travel by tourist coach or in private vehicle over the busy scenic highway towards amazing picturesque Pokhara valley driving through the Himalayan foothills, on arrival at Pokhara transfer to respective hotels nearby beautiful Phewa Lake with afternoon free for short walks. For flying option a 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara on arrival our staff will transfer you to respective hotels by the Phewa Lake side with afternoon at leisure.
Day 04:           Drive to Nayapul 1,100m begin trek to Ghandruk 1,730m.
After having breakfast at Pokhara 2 hours of good drive reaches to the starting point of the trek at Nayapul and Bherethati by the river Modi the drive leads through mid hills towns and villages with superb views of landscapes and Annapurna mountain range including the majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre  “ The Fish Tail” after an interesting two hours journey reaching at Nayapul (new bridge), from here trek starts with a gradual walk through the nice village of Bhirethati here coming across trekkers, mule and donkey trains, our route leads on ancient trail to Tibet by Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade Route, walking through farm lands and villages, waterfalls then reaching at Ghandruk village of Gurung tribe, famous as Gorkha soldiers in several foreign countries, besides being a soldiers there are traditional farmers and cattle herders of Buddhist religion. Ghandruk which is one of the largest villages around Annapurna area in the comfort of a nice cozy lodge after a day’s good walk of four hours.
Day 05:           Trek to Chomrong 1,951m - 06 hours.
From Ghandruk  an hour walk uphill and then reaching to a ridge of Kimrong and then heading downhill through the cool forest of rhododendron and pines trees to Kimrong valley, after reaching the Kimrong valley an uphill climb for another hour from here all the way to the top of Chomrong village, a short downhill walk to the overnight stop at Chomrong village, this is the last permanent Gurung village and the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary and Base Camp trekking.
Day 06:           Trek to Dovan 2,130m via Bamboo 2,050m - 06 hours.
After Chomrong today’s walk leads to a short downhill over the terraced farm fields and to the Chomrong river, after crossing the bridge an uphill for an hour to Sinuwa Danda a small spot with few lodges offering great views of the surrounding landscapes and rolling green hills, from this place walking through cool dense forest till a place called Bamboo is reached, located by the Modi River in the middle of bamboo, rhododendron and oaks forest. From here an hour walk on the gradual up trail to Dovan for overnight stop, situated in the middle of forest Modi River gorge.
Day 07:           Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp 3,720m - 06 hrs.
From here onwards the air gets cooler and fresher entering towards the Annapurna Sanctuary and Base Camp, walk leads on the gradual winding path with gentle ups to Himalaya Hotel near the Hinko Cave, right beneath of Huinchuli peak. From here walking on the glacier and moraine in the old avalanche area, after crossing a small bridge near at Deurali the last lodge before Machhapuchhre Base Camp, from here further vegetation and tree lines disappears with only high alpine bushes and shrubs, our route climbs following the Modi river upstream, the walk gets pleasant in some places then with steep up reaching at Maccahapuchare Base Camp for overnight stay. This place with four lodges located on the bottom of Mt. Maccahapuchare North Face, from here onwards within the Annapurna Sanctuary
Day 08:           Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4, 095m - 04 hours.
After a wonderful morning overlooking views of Annapurna mountain range, from here a short walk to the base camp, morning walk on the grassy uphill slopes then reaching higher almost level ground near Annapurna Base Camp, morning walk with stunning views of close Annapurna peaks that circles the sanctuary facing Annapurna I. After a good scenic walk reaching at Annapurna Base Camp a magnificent spot with about three large lodges at present, offering tremendous awesome scenery of snow capped peaks that encircles around this lovely spot at base camp, afternoon at leisure to enjoy the mountain views.
Annapurna area was first explored by the British Adventure Col. James O.M. 'Jimmy' Roberts in the year 1956 and exposed to the world as the 'Sanctuary of Gods'. The Sanctuary has been christened as "Annapurna Sanctuary" ever since.
Day 09:           Rest day at Annapurna Base Camp.
A necessary acclimatization and rest day at this height in Annapurna base camp, here our guide will brief and inform with you some techniques, skills, for the climb to Tent Peak, with time to relax and prepare for the next day and marvel the surrounding mountain views.
Day 10:           Trek to Tent peak Base Camp 4,450 m - 05 hrs.
After a pleasant time at Annapurna Base Camp our route leads to cross several snow-covered moraine rocky path, and then towards on icy trail for an hour reaching Annapurna south glacier. The climb over moraine and glacier offers stupendous views of high peaks, then after few hours of climb reaching a level area for base camp, a first night camping, afternoon free preparation for the big day to climb Tent peak.
Day 11:           Trek to High Camp 5,200 m - 04 hrs.
We have allowed one more camp to make it accessible for this tough climb of Tent Peak, walking beyond with steep climb on rocky and icy glacier with rock and ice boulders, and then the climb reaches to set high camp at 5,200 meters, afternoon at leisure, relax and preparation for the big climb next early morning.
Day 12:           Climb Tent Peak summit and return to Base Camp - 08 hrs.
The highlight and aim of this great adventure starting very early before dawn and then climbing on snow and icy slopes, which is quite steep with technical sections to reach the summit of Tent / Tharpu Chuli; our guide will make the route fixing ropes where necessary for this great climb to the summit top, after the final ascend to the top of the summit with great spirit and feeling high, marvel the surrounding overwhelming views and descend back to base camp.
Day 13:           Trek back to Annapurna Base Camp - 05 hrs.
After a wonderful time in between great massif of rocks, ice and snow area,
and then after breakfast cleaning the base camp and packing the equipments, retrace the walk back to Annapurna Base Camp on the same route, which can change due to the movement of glacier, after reaching the opposite side of the glacier a moderate climb with an hour to Annapurna base camp.
Day 14:           Trek to Bamboo 2,050 m - 06 hours.
After a grand time at Annapurna Sanctuary and base camp, morning walk on the downhill path all the way to Deurali, then with few ups and downs with gradual winding trail in the serene forest and back to the tree lines to Bamboo for the overnight stay.
Day 15:           Trek to Jhinu danda 1,700m via Chomrong 06 hours.
From here a short steep up to Khuldi Ghar, then on the winding downhill path through dense forest to Sinuwa danda, from here walk descends to Chomrong khola. After the bridge an uphill walk for less than an hour reaching at Chomrong village for rest stop or lunch, after Chomrong with another up for half hour to the top of Chomrong ridge, then our route descends to Jhinu danda for overnight stay, this place offers refreshing hot springs just 20 minutes walk downhill near Modi River.
Day 16:           Trek to Pothana 1, 900 m - 05 hrs.
At Jhinu with a good moment, morning walk on the downhill for an hour to Modi River, then over the bridge with gradual walk and a short climb reaches to Landruk village, after brief time here continue walk on the long winding trail through terraced farm fields and villages then reaching in a small cool forested area, from here an uphill walk for 40 minutes to Deurali ridge at 2,150 m.  After Deurali a nice pleasant walk through forest with grand views of
Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu including the Fish Tail peak all the way to Pothana village is reached for overnight stay located in the middle of alpine forest with fantastic views of the snow capped mountains and valley.
Day 17:           Trek to Kande and drive to Pokhara.
Morning with superb views leads to a short up through cool forest at Thulo Kharka also known as Australian Camp a wonderful spot in the midst of the forest with large meadows overlooking magnificent views of the Himalayan range of mountains, after a short break here the last hour walk an easy descend to Kande village on the road head that connects Baglung-Pokhara, from here an hour drive back to Pokhara after a wonderful time up in the high mountains.
Day 18:           Drive of fly back to Kathmandu.
Morning a scenic drive to Kathmandu, after a wonderful memorable trip in the high mountains of Annapurna area,  then on reaching Kathmandu transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure. (Again with options to fly back to Kathmandu our staff will transfer you to Pokhara domestic airport for 30 minutes scenic flight to Kathmandu, on reaching Kathmandu meet our staff and then transfer back to respective hotels).
Day 19:           International departure for home ward bound.
After a great memorable time and experience with Solukhumbu Treks & Expedition, depart from the hotel to the airport for final departure homeward bound or to respective destinations.
